was, were & things used to be

Its easy to make a list of what we want. Or is it what we think we want?

Life was pretty clear-cut. Was.
It was all planned out. Was.
The path was clear and straight. Was.

It was smooth-sailing. Was.

But things change along the way. Life brings a different perspective. Love brings a different perspective. Growing-up changes you. It should. It better. We know we don't like it sometimes. We're just too arrogant to admit it.

Its still a long way. But I don't know anymore.

I'm tired.

Just tired.
